Our lead-off topic will be, “When dealing with our remains after death, How does Natural Burial fit with our Humanist values.”

We also discussed the idea of hosting a fall speaker on the subject of MAID, Medical Assistance in Dying. The Canadian Supreme Court has ordered the government to come up with legislation around depression and the allowance of MAID by March 2024. We would book the Library for a public event and invite an informed speaker to talk about the effect of this new legislation. What do you think?
